ThruNite Neutron 2C: USB Rechargeable Flashlight Delivers 1100 Lumens

The Neutron 2C is a compact micro-USB rechargeable flashlight from ThruNite which produces a maximum output of 1100 lumens and a beam throw distance of 240 meters. The flashlight measures 125 meters long with a body diameter of 24.4mm. The rechargeable light however comes with an extension tube which would extend the length of the body. The Neutron 2C weighs 86 grams without a battery installed. The flashlight is constructed from an aircraft-grade aluminum alloy which features an anti-slip design and an anodized, anti-abrasive finish. The Neutron 2C also features a reversible, stainless steel pocket clip.

The ThruNite Neutron 2C utilizes a Cree XP-L V6 LED, a smooth metal reflector and an ultra-clear toughened glass lens with anti-reflective coating. The flashlight can be powered by one rechargeable 18650 Lithium Ion or 16340 battery, or two CR123A Lithium or 16340 batteries . The 18650 battery can be recharged inside the flashlight via a connection from the Micro-USB port in the neck of the light to an external power supply.The flashlight produces five light modes: Turbo 1100 Lumens 2Hr 12Min; Infinity High 650 Lumens 2HR 42Min; Infinity Low 12 Lumens 130 days; Firefly 0.5 Lumens 49 Days; Strobe 650 Lumen 5Hr.

The Neutron 2C is operated by a multifunctional electronic side switch located in the neck of the light. Click the switch to turn on/off the flashlight. Press the switch for a couple seconds to activate the Firefly mode. With the light turned off double click the switch to activate Turbo. With the Neutron 2C turned on press the switch to cycle through Infinity High and Infinity Low. Double click the switch from any mode to activate Turbo. While in Turbo double click the switch to access Strobe. The flashlight will turn on in the previously used brightness level other than Firefly, Turbo and Strobe. The ThruNite Neutron 2C flashlight pack includes one 18650 3400mAh battery, holster, lanyard, two O-rings and a USB charging cable.
