The flashlight features a crenulated bezel, a flat tailcap for tail-stand capability and an HAIII military grade hard-anodized finish. The EC11 contains an ultra-clear mineral glass lens with anti-reflective coating and PDOT (Precision Digital Optics Technology) optics which provide for extreme reflector performance.
The Nitecore EC11 utilizes a Cree XM-L2 (U2) LED which produces white light and a secondary red LED. The flashlight can be powered by one rechargeable IMR18350 Li-ion battery, one CR123 lithium or one RCR123 rechargeable Li-ion battery. The mini light features reverse polarity protection which prevents damage from an incorrectly inserted battery.

The flashlight’s red LED delivers constant and flashing illumination. The red constant-on operation can be used to conceal the user’s location and preserve night vision. The red LED can also be put in flashing mode to serve as a signal light and in standby mode to indicate the location of the flashlight. After battery installation the red LED will flash to indicate the battery voltage. The EC11 also features the three special modes including Location Beacon, SOS and Strobe.
