The Probe Shiny adjustable focus LED flashlight kit contains one flashlight, AC charger, car charger, nylon pouch, bicycle mount, 18650 3200mAH 3.7V Lithium Ion battery, 18650 battery sleeve, AAA battery carrier and user manual. The flashlight and accessories come packed in a neat, handy Army Green carry case.The Probe Shiny light can be carried either inside the nylon pouch attached to your belt or mounted on the handlebar of your bike with the included bike mount. The 18650 battery sleeve holds the 18650 battery before being placed inside the light. Similarly, the AAA battery carrier holds three AAA batteries which are inserted into the flashlight in the absence of an 18650 battery. The battery accessories ensure a tight fit inside the light thereby avoiding battery rattle when the light is in use.
The Probe Shiny flashlight measures 165mm long when the light is zoomed-in resulting in a broad floodlight beam. The flashlight measures 182mm long when the light is zoomed-out to the fullest extent resulting in a tightly focused spot light beam. The Probe Shiny weighs 126 grams without any batteries installed. The flashlight is constructed from an aircraft-grade aluminum alloy which features a crenellated bezel and a safety hammer in the tailcap which can be used in the event of an emergency. The flashlight also features diamond knurling for a firm grip and a hard anodized anti-abrasive finish.
The flashlight utilizes a XML T6 LED emitter, a metal reflector and an ultra-clear mineral glass lens. The flashlight is powered by one rechargeable 18650 Lithium Ion battery or three AAA (NiMH/Alkaline) batteries. The Probe Shiny is at its brightest when powered by a fully charged 18650 battery. The flashlight produces a maximum output of 800 lumens, a beam throw distance of 350 meters and five light modes: High; Mid; low; Strobe; SOS.
The Probe Shiny is operated by a multifunctional side switch located in the neck of the light and the adjustable focus function in the head. Press the switch to turn on/off the flashlight as well as access the various brightness levels. With the flashlight turned on slide the head back and forth to focus the light beam from a spot to floodlight.
