The Lomon adjustable LED flashlight kit includes an 18650 Lithium Ion battery and battery charger, a battery sleeve for use with the 18650 battery and a battery holder for use with AAA batteries. The Lomon flashlight can be powered by one rechargeable Lithium Ion battery or three AAA (NiMH/Alkaline) batteries. The flashlight pack which costs just under 13 bucks would provide adequate illumination for low light emergencies around the home or shop and outdoor activities such as biking, camping, hiking and hunting.
The Lomon flashlight measures 6.64 inches long with a head diameter of 1.81 inches. The light weighs 5.61 ounces without any batteries installed. The flashlight is housed inside a T6061 aerospace-grade aluminum alloy which features knurling for a firm grip and a hard anodized, anti-abrasive Black finish. The Lomon light also features a crenellated bezel and a Lotus-shaped attack end in the tailcap, both of which can be used in emergencies.
The flashlight utilizes an LED emitter, a smooth reflector and an ultra-clear mineral glass lens. The Lomon light produces a maximum output of 240 lumens and a beam throw distance of 200 meters. You will experience the best performance from this flashlight with the use of a fully charged 18650 Lithium Ion battery. The flashlight produces three light modes; High; Low; Strobe.
The Lomon light is operated by a metal switch located in the neck of the light and a green dimmer ring located at the base of the head. Press the switch to turn on/off and change light modes. Press the switch and the light comes on in High mode. To cycle through the light modes turn the light off and then on again. With the flashlight turned on you can either zoom-in or zoom-out the flashlight beam by the rotating the the dimmer switch to the left or right.
