The GearLight S1000 flashlight is operated by a red rubber switch in the tailcap and the adjustable focus mechanism in the head. Press the switch until a click is heard to turn on/off the flashlight. With the flashlight turned on, tap the switch to cycle through the various brightness levels. The S1000 also features an adjustable focus which allows a user to zoom-in and zoom-out the flashlight beam by sliding the head back and forth.
