Fenix SE10: LED flashlight designed for hazardous environments

The Fenix SE10 is an explosion-proof flashlight (Group II category I) which is targeted at users in metallurgical and petrochemical plants, oil fields, electrical utilities, textile, paper and chemical industries. The flashlight is however not intended for use in mines. The intrinsically safe explosion-proof flashlight comes with ATEX and IEC directive II 1G Ex ia IIC T4 Ga / II 1D Ex ia IIIC T135℃ Da explosion proof classifications. The SE10 can be used in an atmosphere of flammable gas zones 0-2 and the atmosphere of flammable dust zones 20-22.

The SE10 measures 177.5mm long and has a width of 53mm. The flashlight weighs 164 grams without any batteries installed. The Fenix SE10 is constructed of explosion-proof and antistatic plastics and comes in a Black and Yellow finish. The flashlight utilizes a Cree XP-E2 R3 LED, a metal reflector and an ultra-clear glass lens. The SE10 is powered by three AA/1.5V batteries. Reverse polarity protection guards against incorrect installation of cells. An Allen wrench (key) is included to assist with battery installation.

The Fenix SE10 produces a maximum output of 100 lumens and a beam throw distance of 160 meters. The flashlight delivers a maximum runtime of 12HR 50Min. The SE10 is operated by a Black rubber switch located in the tail. Press the switch partway down for momentary-on, or, all the way down for constant-on operation of the light. The Fenix SE10 flashlight pack includes three Energizer AA batteries, Allen wrench, O-ring and user manual.
