This powerful searchlight is clearly designed for outdoor use and would be ideal for first responders, search and rescue personnel, police officers and the military. The BT31 would also come in handy for cave exploration, hiking, hunting and property surveillance.

The BT31 measures 8.36 inches long and has a head diameter of 3.77 inches. The searchlight weighs 35.8 ounces without any batteries installed. The BT31 is constructed from an aerospace-grade aluminum alloy which features a stainless steel, crenulated bezel which protects the internal components from damage. The flashlight also features a removable handle, block knurling for a firm grip and a Type III hard anodized, anti-abrasive finish.

The Bronte BT31 utilizes a Cree XHP35 HI LED emitter, a deeply recessed smooth reflector and a toughened ultra-clear glass lens with anti-reflective coating. The flashlight is powered by four rechargeable 18650 Lithium Ion batteries. The batteries are placed inside a battery carrier and then inserted into the light. The BT31 produces four light modes: High 2000 Lumens 1Hr 30Min; Mid 1500 Lumens 2Hr; Low 50 Lumens 45Hr; Strobe 10Hz/2000LM 1Hr 48Min.

The BT31 can be operated from either a switch in the handle or one in the tailcap. Since both switches perform similar functions the light can also be operated by from one or the other or a combination of both. Press either switch for a few seconds to turn on/off the searchlight. With the BT31 turned on, short press either switch to cycle through High, Mid and Low or double click to activate Strobe. The Bronte BT31 flashlight pack comes with one hexagon wrench, two spare O-rings and a user manual.
